Il buongiorno oggi ve lo diamo con la foto e le parole di @originalchamp Here is an Italian landmark that needs no introduction. The Leaning Tower of Pisa serves as the bell tower of the Pisa Cathedral in the Piazza dei Miracoli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tower began to sink into the weak soil in 1178, five years after construction began and when the building had reached the third floor level. Construction stopped for a century and resumed in 1272 with upper floors having one side taller than the other. The seventh floor was finally added in 1319. The total lean is now at 4 degrees.
